Sports 2009 Hill Cove

ell folks we are back and it's good to be here at the 2009 sports (Hill Cove)
This year as usual we all had a blast.

There has been a few changes to the program from when we were here last.
There are still foot events, Mechanical Bull, Dog Trials and Shearing
but no horse racing due to lack of horses.
Peat Cutting is a big hit has a enent for sports week with over ten peat cutters taking part.
Thanks to the people of Hill Cove and organizers for making the sports happen.
Once again we made you run around all over the place with events spread around Hill Cove
settlement, West Lagoons and Westley.
The preparations and hard work were all thoroughly worthwhile, another excellent Sports Week.
Many thanks to the chief sec (and helpers) for all her hard work to get the show on the road. .
